Galli Cricket !!

Hello everyone !! It's been a long time without any topics. Had few rough weeks and now it's all fine and normal. For now, it's time for some fun cricketing moments.

Have you ever played Galli Cricket ?? Do you have any plans of doing it right away ?? Then don't miss the fun. You will have the best time and moments to cherish.

"Galli Cricket" also known as "Street Cricket" is the most popular sport in our country. A couple of stones, a tennis ball, an oil bat with very few players in a small street surrounded with residential buildings makes it a crazy sport. And the rules and regulations makes it even more crazier. Here the toss happens with a stone in your hand and who cares what happens on the street. No one is really bothered about a car parked aside or a grandfather walking across the street. The one who has a bat and stumps is the captain and the side who wins has a chance to bat first in the next match. Joker, he is the trump card and has a chance to bat for both the teams. Their is no age bar for this game.

Recently, I have been involved with this sport, had super fun and also got patched up with band aids. Some of those extreme moments come as you try to be the best. You will find different material of sportsmen here, some bat very well, few bowl with some intense looks trying to mock the batsman, few always drop a catch of the same player and few who always get out hitting the ball into neighbor's house with "beware of dogs" board to it and finally few who play to impress the girl next door. This gets even more interesting when you smash your enemy neighbor's glass window. Their are fights against decisions which are very common. The best of all is when rain interrupts the game or even if the sun is right over your head and no one cares. The amount of water we consume and the sweat poring out makes even a professional playing such cricket look normal. Such is the intense and they even say most of the professional players in our country started this game with Galli cricket.

I would have missed many other moments, but these are a few I remember forever. And I feel sad for this generation who are more into gadgets and missing such fun. Enjoy your game on the field.

Have a Great Week !!!

Cheers !!!

The Twins of Troubles !!

A strong relationship is always the best support in our lives. It reduces the strain & helps in improving ourselves both physically & mentally. However, if the relationship is not working then its a pain. The reason for this could be lack of communication or may be the difference in opinions or can be anything. People come together with different reasons and leave with a single view point. But then, knowing the factors could help them rebuild.

Some of those factors come from two simple words "Importance" & "Priority". These are the most influential and contradictory words. I feel relationship starts with giving importance and ends up with choosing priorities. They look very common and even the difference between them is very little but a single statement with these words make two different versions.

Importance is giving some weight/significance to the person's view/context.Priority is preference between two or more important things.
So, what is making people choose after they actually feel that's important ??
Is that the person they choose is wrong ?? or Is it going for a better reason ??

My point is importance comes with the value, how people give it back to you. And priority comes later, as who gives it better. Rather it is just expecting the better for our good. It is, we expect people to develop in counter with our choices. So it is the word Expectations that ruins it all.

Importance is always the same. Priority changes with circumstances. No one can reply to the question : What is your priority ??  This is not about who/what's more important when, this is about the support & realization. It is the way as in how people understand each other with the situations. If they are not ready with it. Expect the best arguments.

I may or may not not be right with this view for many but this is the one I wanted to take out of my head.

Have a great week !!

Cheers !!

A House of Entertainment !

Hello Peeps !!

Last night I had this dream , as in my street with huge buildings are being destroyed. People are running for their lives and it was just another 2012 for me. I woke up and then realized that nothing was true. Even dreams are horrifying and scary. I then decided to make a note of every dream.

Coming to the topic , I have been to an IPL match recently and lot many things stroke my head. It was just one boring match as the opponent outplayed the home team. And for the first time I realized,  if players on the field don't impress you then its the crowd that entertains you. Many incidents around me made my day very interesting. A kid who is a great home fan was too emotional seeing his team lose. Looking at him I remember me watching 1999 world cup semifinal between South Africa & Australia, it was one heart breaking match. I came back home and watched it again on youtube. Such was the feeling.

I then moved to a couple , were wife was thrilled to watch the match but husband was busy counting cheer leaders. Then comes a group who wanted a picture with the ground as the back ground. They were struggling as the camera was not enough to cover everyone. The popcorn guy had his cardio exercises in the stands as very few cared to buy, he was just walking , walking and just walking. Also a girl who was in a hurry to get some refreshments for her family. She looked like the head of the family taking responsibilities. The best of all was the group in neighboring stands, they were brilliant with the moves. Of course, they were not under control.

Many other incidents also happened, two fans discussing the game, a couple who are more happy seeing each other, the Mexican wave which created some noise, the announcer trying to cheer up the spectators, a young female group waving flags, a hungry group and finally few made for each other couples.

These things will cheer you up for sure. At the same time it will make you feel that you are just watching them enjoy, but then they surely refresh your memories. I then felt coming to a ground is not just watching a match but enjoying the surroundings too. Hope you will cherish many of such incidents which will make you feel good.

Will come back with other topic soon. Do let me know the feedback.
Cheers ! Have a great week !! :)

Namaskaram !!

Namaskaram
I started off my proceedings with this word as it is the form of Salutation , and most commonly used in the sub-continent. It's a Telugu word derived from Sanskrit known as Namaskar. This means "I Bow to U". This is also a token of respect and a greeting to begin and end a conversation with people.

Preface !
My intention is to share my experiences which can be interesting and also worthy. Most of them would be random thoughts or also a story which relates to a topic I choose. Please do comment good or bad and I assure to respond.

Have a Great week !!
Cheers !!
